Ritsuco Endo with Funky Ritsuco Version!(FRV!)

Ritsuco Endo with Funky Ritsuco Version is a Latin funk-fusion band playing all sorts of music including jazz standard tunes, contemporary Latin tunes, disco hits from the 70s, Beatles' tunes, rock, classical music and Ritsuco Endo's original pieces in danceable rhythm and with funky mood.

Members consist of top musicians from the jazz and Latin music scenes, and the band has been active for the past 16 years in giving concerts, performing at live spots, and issuing CDs. The band appears at various concerts and venues, pleasing the audience with beautiful melodies and emotional improvisation solos, and creating a sense of joyful unity between audience and performers through interactive dancing and singing. Venues to date include: NHKFM Session 505, Meiji Gakuin University's Festa Ecuador Concert (joint performance with Ecuador's Bereju music group), Ginza Yamaha Hall Concert, Yokohama Asahi Jazz Festival, Bashamichi Festival Concert at Kannai Grand Hall, Isogo Ward Shiomi-dai Home Concert, Yamagata International Jazz Festival, Sasebo Jazz Festival, "A Unified World Through Music" concert at Konosu Civic Cultural Center's Clea Konosu Grand Hall, Ginza Swing, Roppongi Satin Doll, Mito Jiyugaoka Studio, Asunaro Concert at Ibaragi Prefecture's Colony psychiatric facility, Asahi Primary School's Centennial Concert, Shimomaruko Jazz Club Live --etc.

From February 11 to 28 2002, the band has participated in a Central American Concert Tour under Japan Foundation's "Performances Abroad Program" and has given concerts hosted by Japanese Embassies in Columbia, Dominica, Cuba and Venezuela. The concerts were very successful and the Japanese Embassy in Dominica for example received hundreds of phone-calls on the day after the concert, requesting for repeated shows. The band has indeed contributed greatly to international cultural exchange through music. From October 28 to November 15, the band visited Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela and Paraguay on a Latin American concert tour organized by the Japan Foundation and held concerts hosted by the Japanese Embassies in the respective countries.

FRV!'s CD recordings include "SUNSHINE" <Nippon Crown>, "FRV!" <Nippon Columbia>, "Kazoku (Family)" <Waseda University Laboratory Series Label's very first issue>, "Ai ni Afurete (Overflowing with Love)"
< Waseda University Laboratory Series Label's second issue>.

Ritsuco Endo Piano Trio

The Ritsuco Endo Piano trio is a piano-double bass-drums ensemble that offers jazz standard tunes, Latin tunes, bossa-nova pieces, beautiful Japanese children's songs, traditional school educational songs, classical music, Beatles' tunes with swing, bossa-nova, Latin and 8-beat rhythms.

Besides performances at concert halls and live jazz clubs, the trio also gives well-received recitals at art museums, old people's homes and hospitals.

The trio has performed on occasion of the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between China and Japan in Shanghai (2002) and Beijing (2003). It has also participated in a charity concert on November 13, 2003 at the UNESCO Headquarters Hall in Paris, together with Carmelo di Napoli from Italy and Carmen Linares from Spain, followed by a performance next day at the Czech Cultural Center in Paris as part of the "European Jazz Festival".

Toquio Bossa Trio

A piano trio formed in 2009 featuring Brazilian samba and bossa-nova music. Issed the CD "Angel Eyes" and gives well-received performances at various venues.
